A.V.N. Swamy is working as Professor of Chemical Engineering, in JNTU College of Engineering, Anantapur. He did his M.Tech in Biochemical Engineering from Harcourt Butler Technological Institute (HBTI), Kanpur. He completed his PhD from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay. He is a visiting faculty of Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering department, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam under UGC-SAP program. He has 20 years of Industrial experience, in various industries like Walchandnagar Industries Ltd., Walchandnagar, Tata Research Development and Design Centre at Pune, Hindustan Organic Chemicals Ltd, Rasayani and SIRIS Ltd., Hyderabad. He has about 12 research publications in national and international journals, in the area of biotechnology and environmental biotechnology
