About the Book:
This
book aims at the delivery of the content in a lucid manner; builds the
understanding level of the reader in a well-structured manner and thus will be
very good resource in the area of Digital Communication. It will be a one point
contact for all the contents of the course on Digital Communication as per the
prescribed syllabus for B.Tech (Electronics and Communication Engineering.) in
many universities across the country.
All the concepts
discussed in theory are well established through a good number of numerical
examples. The book enables the reader to attempt various question of Higher
Order Thinking with confidence, in the proposed area. To provide a good insight
for the subject, the concept discussed are validated through Matlab/Scilab
simulations. This
Book will be an excellent aid for the students preparing for various national
level competitive Examinations in Engineering (ECE stream). Questions
(including short answer questions) from previous such examinations are provided
at the end of each chapter along with solutions. |
Contents: 1. Introduction to a Digital Communication System 2. Some Random Variables 3. Sampling Theorem 4. Analog to Digital Conversion 5. Bandpass Digital Communication 6. Baseband Signal Receiver 7. Noise Performance of Digital Modulation Schemes 8. Information Theory 9. Source Coding |
