About the Authors:
Havagiray R. Chitme, has been known for innovative
teaching, learning and research in the field of Pharmaceutical sciences since
past 24 years. His 11 years of experience as Associate Professor and Professor
of Pharmacology at National University of Science and Technology, Muscat, made
him to have experience of teaching in Indian and American pedagogies. A
postgraduate in Pharmacy (Pharmacology) in 1998 from RGUHS, Bangalore, and
Doctorate in Pharmacy from Bundelkhand University, Jhansi in 2003. He is
extensively involved in teaching Human Anatomy and Physiology, Pathophysiology,
Pharmacology, Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacotherapeutics at graduation,
postgraduation and doctoral level. His passion for teaching in all aspects
flows through his basic and clinical research. He received International and
National research grants in the field of woman health. He has guided multiple
M. Pharm dissertation works and Doctoral thesis works. He published many Indian
patents, research articles in peer reviewed indexed journals and presented
papers in various National and International scientific platforms. He delivered
invited talks in National and International Seminars, Symposiums, Workshops and
Conferences. He has received various awards such as 'Best Teacher Award', 'Best
Paper Presentation Award', 'Research Excellence Award', 'Best Paper Publication
Award', 'Outstanding Teacher Award' and others. He was heading the faculty of
pharmacy, DIT University Dehradun. Currently, he is working with DIT
University, Dehradun as Professor of Pharmacology and Head, IPR Cell. He is one
of the most popular professor among his students.
Ajay Kumar Gupta, an Educationist &
Researcher in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences, is having experience of
more than two decades, at the present time he is serving School of
Pharmaceutical Sciences (formerly University Institute of Pharmacy), CSJM
University (a UP State University), Kanpur, which is one of the premier and
pioneering pharmacy institute. He earned several accolades and recognitions
from number of esteemed associations/societies including Fellow-Membership of
International Science Congress Association, International Congress of Chemistry
& Environment, Fellowship of Blue Planet Society; Life Membership: Indian
Pharmaceutical Association (IPA), Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of
India (APTI), Indian Pharmacy Graduates Association (IPGA), PRAYATNA, Society
of Pharmacognosy, Society of Pharmaceutical Education & Research, Asian
Biological Research Foundation. He is also Associate Editor/Editorial Board
Member of several International and National journals; guided number of M.Pharm
and PhD scholars. He has published many International and Indian patents,
research articles in peer reviewed indexed journals. He is recognized as one of
the BEST TEACHERS in the country by the G.M. Council, honored by the Vice
chancellor of C.S.J.M. University and the District Magistrate of Kanpur, as
well. He is a recipient of various awards viz. Outstanding Faculty Award,

Anuj Nautiyal is working as Associate Professor in School of
Pharmaceutical Sciences, SGRR University, Dehradun, Uttarakhand. He is having
more than 15 years of teaching and research experience in DIT University. He
had his B.Pharm from RGUHS, Bangalore, M.Pharm (Clinical Pharmacy) from HNB
Garhwal University, Srinagar and PhD from UTU, Dehradun. He also completed
various certified course in clinical research like Professional Diploma in
Clinical Research (PDCR), Advance Certificate Program in Clinical Trial
Monitoring (ACPCR), Advance certificate Program in Scientific Writing (ACPSW),
and Advance Certificate Program in Project Management (ACPPM). Currently, he is
supervising the multiple PhD students. He has filed two Indian patents and
published research papers in various National and International peer reviewed
reputed journals. He has participated in more than 50 National and
International conferences / Seminar / FDP. He is life member of various bodies
like APTI, IPA etc. |
