Prabhakar Reddy Veerareddy is an accomplished researcher, eminent teacher in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Currently he is serving as Principal at University College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Palamuru University, Mahabubnagar, Telangana State, India since 2013. He did his B.Pharm from University College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Kakatiya University, Warangal M.Pharm from University College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Andhra University,Visakhapatnam; Ph.D from University College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Kakatiya University, Warangal and Post Doctoral Fellowship (PDF) from Butler University, Indianapolis, Indiana, United States of America. In addition he has also received his LLB from Kakatiya University, Warangal.
He received Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) from Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), New Delhi from November, 2000 to June, 2004; DST (India)-DAAD (Germany) Fellowship as Research Fellow, Department for Craniomaxillofacial and Plastic Surgery, University of Cologne, Germany from September, 2003 to October, 2003; CSIR International Travel Grant to attend Controlled Release Society Conference (CRS), Honolulu, Hawaii, USA from June 12-16, 2004; AICTE International Travel Grant to attend Federation of International Pharmacists (FIP), New Orelans, USA from September 4-9, 2004. He has an extensive research experience in Nanoparticles, Solid Lipid Nanoparticles, Sublingual Tablets, Fast Disintegrating Tablets, Solid Dispersions, Mouth Dissolving Tablets, Sustained Release Systems, Controlled Release Systems, Transdermal, Colon Specific and Gastro retentive drug delivery systems. He has delivered more than 50 invited talks on drug delivery systems. He is a visiting professor in Kathmandu University, Nepal since 2008. He has attended many symposiums and workshops at the national and international level. He has more than 100 research publications in several international and national journals, and he guided 100 M. Pharm students and 8 PhD students. He has extensively travelled to USA, Germany, Switzerland, Rome, Canada, France, Egypt, Dubai, Thailand, China, Nepal, Turkey and Portugal.
