About the Authors

Dr. B. Prabhakara Rao received the B.Tech and M.Tech from S.V. University, Tirupathi with specializations in Electronics & Communications Engineering, Electronic Instrumentation & Communications Systems in the years 1979 and 1981 respectively. He obtained the Doctoral degree from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore in the area of Sonar Signal processing in the year 1995. Dr. Rao  has  30 years of experience in teaching and 24 years of R &D and he has membership in various  professional bodies like SMIEEE, FIE, FIETE, MISTE,MSEMC,MISCA. He has guided 7 Ph.D's and guiding 20 Ph.D scholars. He has published more than 115 technical papers in National and International journals and conferences. His area of interest is Wireless Communications, Optical Communications, Microwave Communications and Satellite Communications.

                Dr. Rao was served as BOS Chairman for JNTU Hyderabad, member of BOS for JNTUCE Anantapur, Kakinada and Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India. He served in different positions like Head of the Department, Vice Principal, in JNTU College of Engineering and Director (Institute of Science & Technology, Evaluation) in JNT University, Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, India from 2003. Presently he is working as Director (Foreign Universities & Alumni Relations) in JNTUK from February 2012. He has also received many distinguished Awards like Best teacher Award, Best Researcher Award from JNTUK (2009) and AP State Best Teacher Award (2010).

Dr. T.S.R Murthy, completed M.Sc. (Statistics), from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam and Ph.D, (Operations Research), from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam and at present working as Professor of Mathematics at  Shri Vishnu Engineering College for Women, Bhimavaram. He has 20 years of teaching experience for B.Sc., B.Tech, M.C.A, M.B.A, Pharmacy Students. He is also handling classes for competitive examinations like Quantitative Aptitude, Numerical Aptitude and Test of Reasoning. The author is honoured by NSB, Mumbai to train candidates for Banking Service examinations. Dr. TSR Murthy has published several papers in reputed journals also presented papers in National and International Conferences and authored two books one on Queueing Models and the other Probability and Statistics. He is a life member of Indian Society of Technical Education. He is an active participator in various faculty development programs.
