About the Authors:

Y. Madhusudan Rao, M Pharm, PhD is currently working as Director, Vaagdevi group of Pharmacy colleges and formerly worked as senior Professor in University College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Kakatiya University, Warangal. 40 candidates obtained their PhD under his supervision and one is currently working. He has published more than 215 research papers mostly in referred international journals and has got 5 national & 1 international patent and authored 7 books.

            He is the Principal Investigator of several projects funded by UGC & AICTE. Currently he is a Member of Scientific Committee of Indian Pharmacopeial Commission.

            He acted as a member expert in National Board of Accreditation (NBA) of AICTE and NAAC of UGC. He was the first Chief Coordinator of QIP and EFIP for teachers in pharmaceutical sciences organised by AICTE.

            He is recipient of awards such as GP Srivatsava Memorial award, Best teacher, Best scientist, Best life time achievement awards from Associations like APTI, IPA, IPGA, APP.

 

Y. Shravan Kumar is working as HOD Pharmaceutics in Vaagdevi College of Pharmacy. He is recipient of Awards like Best teacher Award and Best Researcher Award by APP. He received DST travel grant to attend and present posters in AAPS conference held at New Orleans, USA. He has 19 years of teaching and Research experience, published 71 research articles, Guided 2 PhD Scholars and 90 M.Pharm students. He has acted as reviewer and was a Brand Ambassador for international scientific publications such as Current Drug Delivery. Contributed 8 book chapters for the book entitled “Advances in novel drug delivery system” Volume I to lV. Contributed 1 book chapters for the book entitled “Cosmoceuticals.”
