About the Author:
Mithun Rudrapal, PhD, FIC, FICS, CChem (India),
is Associate Professor at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, School of
Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Vignan's Foundation for Science,
Technology & Research (Deemed to be University), Guntur, India. He has been
actively engaged in teaching and research in the field of pharmaceutical and
allied sciences for more than 13 years. He has over a hundred publications in
peer-reviewed International journals to his credit and has filed a number of
Indian and International patents. In addition, He is the author of a dozen
published or forthcoming books. He is a reviewer of a number of journals with
reputed national and international publishers. He is a Life member of IPA,
APTI, ISCA, IPS, IAPST and various other professional bodies. He is a Fellow
and Chartered Chemist of Institution of Chemists (India) and a Fellow of Indian
Chemical Society. He works in the areas of Medicinal Chemistry, computer-aided
drug design (CADD), infectious diseases, drug repurposing, phytochemistry,
herbal drugs, and nanophytotherapeutics.
Mr. Soumya Bhattacharya is working as Assistant Professor in Guru Nanak
Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology, Kolkata, West Bengal, India
since 2011. Previously, he worked as Quality Assurance Chemist in a
Pharmaceutical Industry. He is a Life Member of Association of Pharmaceutical
Teachers of India (APTI) and Indian Pharmacy Graduates' Association (IPGA). He
is presently an Executive Committee Member of IPGA-Bengal Branch. He is
examiner to many Universities, Councils, and faculties of West Bengal. He has
also performed as a resource person and Communicator in different up-gradation
training programs for Registered Pharmacists in West Bengal on Role of
Pharmacists in Public Health challenges and Medication errors organized by
Indian Pharmacy Graduate Association, Bengal Branch as per section 4.2 of the
Pharmacy Practice Regulation 2015. He has authored 2 books and 6 book chapters,
and published his works in several National and International journals and
conferences. |
