About the Authors:
Dr. Ajay Semalty, is the Course Coordinator of India's
most popular SWAYAM MOOCs- Academic Writing and Industrial Pharmacy. He is
working as a faculty member in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences,
H.N.B. Garhwal University (A Central University) Srinagar (Garhwal),
Uttarakhand for the last 18 years with Academic, research, and industrial
experience of more than 19 yrs. He is also working as the University SWAYAM
Coordinator and SPOC NPTEL Local chapter of Garhwal University. He is M. Pharm.

Dr. Mona Semalty, Co-Course Coordinator of India's most

graduate of Krupanidhi College of Pharmacy, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health
and Sciences Bangalore (Karnataka), postgraduate (M. Pharm.-Pharmaceutics) from
M.L.S. University Udaipur (Rajasthan) and doctorate from H.N.B. Garhwal
(Central) University Srinagar Garhwal (Uttarakhand). She is also a postgraduate
in Management- MBA with specialization in Operation Management from IGNOU, New
Delhi. She is presently working as Assistant Professor (Pharmaceutics), in the
Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, H.N.B. Garhwal University Srinagar
(Garhwal), Uttarakhand, India with more than 18 years of experience in teaching
and research. Her focus area of research is novel drug delivery by
microparticulate systems and herbal drug delivery for diabetes and hair loss
(alopecia).
