About the Authors:
Kamlesh J. Wadher, Professor of Pharmaceutics at Smt. Kishoritai Bhoyar College of Pharmacy, Kamptee completed his B.Pharm (1996) and M.Pharm (1998) from University Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nagpur University, Nagpur. He has persuaded his Ph.D. from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. He has more than 18 years of experience in teaching and research and has supervised projects of 34 M.Pharmacy students. He has published more than 40 research papers in International and National journals.
He has diverse interest in pharmaceutical technology and his research interest includes, development of novel drug delivery systems with special emphasis on gastro retentive, Colonic targeted, sustained release delivery, microspheres and liposomal delivery system.
Milind J. Umekar, Principal and Professor, Smt. Kishoritai Bhoyar College of Pharmacy, Kamptee completed his B.Pharm from Amravati University, M.Pharm and Ph.D. (Pharmaceutical Science) and MBA & Ph.D. (Management) from RTM Nagpur University, Nagpur. He has 20 years of teaching, research and administrative Experience. He has guided 38 M.Pharm and 6 Ph.D. students in various fields of pharmaceutical sciences. There are more than 58 publications in national and international journals. He worked as Member, Board of Studies, RTM Nagpur University.
Currently he is Vice President, APTI National and also Member, Indian Pharmaceutical Congress Association, worked as President of IPA (Nagpur Branch), State Coordinator of Society of Pharmacognosy, Secretary of AUPPC, Secretary of Pharma HR Society of India and National executive member of Indian pharmacology society.
He has been honored with Pharmacy Teacher of the Year Award, Maharashtra Pharmacist Association Award, Young Achiever Award, National Teacher Excellence Award, Best Teacher Award and Best Principal Award by various professional organizations.
Mahesh R. Mishra, Associate Professor, Smt. Kishoritai Bhoyar College of Pharmacy, has persuaded his Ph.D. from Birla Institute of Technology, Ranchi. He has more than 12 years of teaching and research experience and guided 22 M.Pharm students. He is a recipient of gold medal in quality assurance during his post-graduation. To his credit he has one patent and 12 publications in various National and International Journals.
His research interests include electrical phenomenon, basic sciences, co-relation of zeta potential with diseases, dispersion, stability and rheology of blood. |
